Annual Day 2014

The  Annual Day 2014 celebration of the Academy  was different than the others.

This event was a harbinger in a way with many 'firsts'.

This Event heralded  a theme as a base for all the programs in it. The Theme this year was ' Raagas and their adaptations in Bollywood'.   Each item was handpicked by Mrs Shraddha Prabhu with this theme and the students capability and interest in mind.

This was the also the first time that all the centres came together to celebrate it on one single day.

The Venue was Ekam Sports Arena, one of our centres.

Almost every student who was eligible presented a piece.

The Heralding performance of Sargam Alankaar presentation saw a mix of students across the centres. - A First

Various Contests were held through out the year for the first time.

We had a chief guest for the function - a first again .  (Mr. Amar Singh, CEO of Ekam Sports was the chief guest.)

There was a prize distribution ceremony towards the end where all students who completed their Level 1 were awarded their certificates . - Another first

Perhaps the best was that one of our students 'Devika Maniraj', presented a melodious piece from a Malayalam Film, self taught and dedicated to her teacher Shraddha Prabhu. She played the piece so well that it managed a tear or two from her teacher. Atta Girl Devika!!

Ofcourse the program, which lasted 2 hours, was expertly EmCeed by Mrs. Jaya Ranganathan and professionally recorded by Mr. Krishna Prabhu

The list of programs is as below.
